Hi Dan

Regarding the Ichimoku indicator, it is mainly use as an indicator to signal bullish or bearish of the market. From what I have read about this indicator previously, it also comprises of 2 moving averages and you can use the crossover of these 2 moving averages to form a buy or sell signals.

As I did not use this indicator in my trading before, I am not able to tell you how effective it is and I suggest that you try this indicator on a demo account to see its effect before implementing it to your live trading.

Hi Dan

For your question, I will choose MACD and the 200 EMA. The MACD is very versatile and has many uses and the 200 EMA is one of the most reliable support and resistance level.
